  grabit 0.8.0

  • hdr: captures of an hdr output are tone mapped to srgb so they look the way the screen does (#8)
  • capture.hdr keeps the full range instead, as a 16-bit png with cICP, mDCV and cLLI (plain -F/-w/-L only, needs color-management-v1)
  • sway: -w/--window and window snapping now work there
  • region.window_borders includes hyprland's window borders in window captures (#20)
  • hyprland window snap handles floating windows and special workspaces (#19)
  • grabit --pause pauses or resumes a recording from a keybind
  • --tesseract prints the text to stdout so it can be piped
  • text tool: the caret can be moved, and ctrl+v pastes
  • uploads show progress on a terminal
  • a flag that does nothing now warns instead of being silently ignored
  • config values are validated on load, and a config that does not parse is never overwritten
  • removing a plugin, sxcu uploader or keybind asks first on a terminal (--yes skips it)
  • renamed, old names still work: log_file is now log.enabled, capture.delay is capture.delay_secs, edit.default is edit.always, and grabit -p <name> is grabit <name> --pin
  • default keys: confirm is Ctrl+s instead of Ctrl+c, and cancel adds Ctrl+w and Ctrl+q
  • recording notifications update in place instead of stacking, and the capture sound plays on start and stop
  • toolbar buttons highlight on hover and press, and tooltips show your configured keybinds
  • fix rounded window captures bleeding at the corners (#20)
  • fix recording.pix_fmt not reaching ffmpeg, state keys landing in config.toml, a libjpeg error killing the process, and a hang with streaming translators
